I lost inspiration for doing my hair recently. So, like any other bored internet junkie, I went searching for photos of great hairstyles. These were my three favorites and I am now thinking, " could I do a tutorial of these?" Stay tuned...

own clothing line and a huge cult like following.

Artist: Gil Elvgren No longer around but a huge influence on the culture.

It's getting hot

Youch!! Pin Up Girl Clothing makes the hottest little bathing suits around, and I can say from personal experience, they are extremely comfortable. They look great on every body type and are durable enough for actual swimming! There are a ton of other colors and patterns so make sure you check out the website.

New Shoes

I just came across these 20's vintage inspired shoes, and I want them all!!! The details are perfect, not too much but bold enough to stand out. The designers name is Rachel Simpson. Her website has a great bridal selection as well. These three are my personal favorites but I must admit she doesn't make a so-so shoe at all.

Introducing the stunning Dita Von Teese

If you haven't already, GO BUY THIS BOOK!!!! It's full of beautiful pictures of the lovely burlesque superstar, plus How to's for the era's 20's through the 50's including makeup and hair. Dita also helps you find a stage name for your inner "striptuese" and gives info for great old timey music and films. I use this book for reference material all of the time and I am always inspired by Dita Von Teese.
Extra Goodies: Flip the book over for a look into the "darker" side of the burlyque babe with her 101 page fetish section.

P.s. I heard rumor of a new beauty book comming out from Dita. I'll keep a wing-lined eye out for it!!!
